Camp Hill Borough Building
Camp Hill, PA

Bink was selected for the first borough hall in 1963, when the Borough converted the firehouse on Market Street to offices. When Camp Hill outgrew those quarters, they selected a small tapered site adjacent to the new fire station. The program for Camp Hill Borough Hallthree separate functions required buildingto the lot lines onthree sides, a large municipal parking lot across the street, with separate entrances for police administration and community hall with catering kitchen.

To unify the plan an interior “street” was envisioned which organized the entries and building massing into a town square. Subsequent additions and renovations for the volunteer fire company enhanced the new Town Center concept to a “new” Camp Hill context. All interior material require minimal maintenance and include high quality fiberglass trim work and columns. Energy efficient systems with full data, telecom and emergency power for crisis situations are integrated.
